How do I get an estimate for my tree project?

You can request a quote by calling us directly or filling out the contact form on our website. From there, we will schedule a time to visit your property to assess the trees in person and provide a transparent, written bid.

What do you do with the wood and debris after a removal?

Our standard service includes thorough cleanup. We typically chip the smaller brush and haul away the larger logs. If you would like to keep the wood for firewood or have it left as mulch, just let us know during the on-site consultation.

How do I know if a tree needs to be removed or just trimmed?
Common signs that a tree may need removal include deep trunk cracks, fungal growth at the base, significant deadwood in the canopy, or a noticeable lean. During our consultation, we’ll evaluate the tree’s health and determine if pruning can save it or if removal is the safest option.
Does your team use "spikes" when pruning my trees?
We follow industry best practices and avoid using climbing spikes on trees that are being pruned for health. Spikes create wounds that can cause disease. We only use them during total removals where the health of the trunk is no longer a factor.
Can you remove trees in tight or restricted spaces?
Yes. Using specialized rigging and modern equipment, we can safely remove trees that are hovering over houses, decks, or delicate landscaping without causing collateral damage.
What are the benefits of regular tree trimming?

Professional pruning improves the structural integrity of the tree, increases sunlight penetration for your lawn, and removes “sail area” to help the tree withstand high Tennessee winds. It is an investment in the longevity of your property’s value.

When is the best time of year to prune my trees?
While safety pruning can be done year-round, many species benefit from dormant pruning in the late fall or winter. This reduces stress on the tree and makes it easier to see the structure of the branches.
Is stump grinding included in the price of tree removal?

Stump grinding is typically offered as a separate add-on service. This allows customers the flexibility to choose whether they want the stump removed or if they prefer to save on costs by leaving it. We can provide a quote for both at the same time.

How deep do you grind the stumps?
We typically grind stumps 4 to 8 inches below the soil surface. This is deep enough to allow for topsoil and grass seed to be applied over the area, effectively erasing the stump’s footprint from your yard.
What happens to the mulch created from the stump?
Grinding a stump produces a mixture of wood chips and soil. We can leave this nutrient-rich mulch on-site for your garden beds, or we can arrange to haul it away for an additional fee to leave the area completely clear.
Can you grind stumps near underground utilities?
Safety is our priority. Before we grind, we ask that you or the local utility service (811) mark any underground lines. We take great care to avoid irrigation lines or utility pipes located near the stump.
How do you protect my lawn from heavy equipment?
We use professional-grade ground protection mats where necessary to distribute the weight of our equipment. This minimizes ruts and protects your turf from compaction during the removal process.
What is your cleanup process like?
Our goal is to leave your yard looking better than when we arrived. We rake up small twigs, blow off sawdust from your driveway and walkways, and ensure all large debris is hauled away or processed according to your contract.
Does your equipment fit through a standard backyard gate?
It depends on the specific job and access point. Our consultants will take a look at your property and let you know what’s possible with the equipment we have. If access is limited, we’ll walk you through alternative options to safely get the job done.
What should I do to prepare my property before your team arrives?
To ensure a smooth process, please move any vehicles, patio furniture, potted plants, or pet waste away from the work zone. If there are specific underground features like septic tanks or invisible dog fences, please point them out to us.
How do you handle overhead power lines?
We never take risks with electricity. If a tree is encroaching on primary power lines, you will need to coordinate with the local utility company to ensure the lines are dropped or insulated before we begin our work.
